Many people in America right now are under attack. This is not an overstatement or exaggeration. Those of us who are targeted are shoring up our defenses, and gathering community, and doing our best to weather the long storm.
We are seeing the excuses made, and the failures of those in a position to do so to call out against injustice. We are seeing the attacks against those who are stepping up.
The lines have been drawn. Where are we standing? As individuals, as a congregation, as a faith? There should not be a question; where we stand should be very clear.
Unitarian Universalism is a covenantal faith. We agree on values, and we agree to hold ourselves and each other accountable to those values. Are we holding up to that covenant?
