I recently saw a cartoon saying that we should all plan to stay awake the entire night of December 31st, not to celebrate but to make sure 2020 actually leaves! My friends, let’s not give up hope that the ice storm which happens in the middle of the Pandemic, in conjunction with the numerous hurricanes and fires will combine in force to wipe out the murder hornets!!
Welcome, October - Move forward, go back. There are daily gains and losses. Oklahoma, as a State, is such a generous place, but sometimes we, as individuals, don’t live up to expectations.
There are certain things that we count on. September means a new school year begins. This year, even school is happening in an unfamiliar way. But, rather than looking back on the past few months, I’m looking forward.
When situations arise, we deal with them. No one would wish for a pandemic to shake things up, but here we are. Someone wrote that it feels that we are all in a big Time-Out. We’ve been sent to our rooms to think about things. If there is one theme that runs through our experience, it seems to be gratitude.
