There are certain things that we count on. September means a new school year begins. This year, even school is happening in an unfamiliar way. But, rather than looking back on the past few months, I’m looking forward.
When situations arise, we deal with them. No one would wish for a pandemic to shake things up, but here we are. Someone wrote that it feels that we are all in a big Time-Out. We’ve been sent to our rooms to think about things. If there is one theme that runs through our experience, it seems to be gratitude.
Happy July, Everyone. July begins a new year for the Board of Trustees, and I am honored to serve as this year’s president. Within the four years that I’ve been a member, I was absent most of a full year because of working weekends. When I got a better job, I came back and found that everything was as nice as I remembered. How did that happen?
