Dr. Hal Yocum as been attending Channing for over 20 years and has been a UUsince 1983. He has served on several committees during that time: Grounds, Nominating, Religious Ed. for the kids. He has been the Chair for the Auction and Pledge dinner committees.  Hal has served on the Board of Trustees for a full term and a couple "fill-ins”. We can always count on Hal to be instrumental in keeping our grounds in order.

Hal is involved with the Edmond American Legion Post 111 and manages the Boy's State Program for 6 area High Schools. He is a member of the OKC Audubon Society (currently President) where he leads bird walks at Mitch Park and Lake Hefner.  He is involved with the BoyScouts and currently serves on the Last Frontier Council Executive Board as hehas for 22 years.

Wife, Maryjo and Hal have four children, and 12 grandchildren, spread from eastern Tennessee to Longmont, Colorado. Two of their kids live here in Edmond with four of their grandkids.
